Be Ready
[et_pb_section bb_built="1"][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type="4_4"][et_pb_text _builder_version="3.11"]Too many Christians are spending way too much time in getting ready. We can 't keep saying "tomorrow" or "maybe later" or "I need to grow as a Christian first." It 's time for us as Christians to be ready!Mat. 25:10 says, "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear."Mat 24:44 says, "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."We need to live today and everyday in anticipation of: saving the lost, healing the sick, teaching the Word and being an example to others by everything we do and say.We need to be so immersed in the Word that it just automatically spills out in love onto others to help them in their personal situations.I want to give you a few ways to know that you are ready.
- Believe - When you read God 's Word then simply believe what He is saying to you.
- Expect - Don 't sit back wondering weather you will have what God says - be ready; expect what He says to be yours already.
- Confess - what God 's Word says and don 't confess what you have now.
- Receive - Become like little children and thank God for giving you what He says He would before you have it. Just receive it!
- Become - Live in what He says you have. It is so important for you to know who you are in Christ Jesus. You have Jesus Christ in you, and greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. You also have the same power in you (the Holy Spirit) that raised Jesus from the dead. Act like it - be bold!
- Release - Move boldly in the ministry of Jesus Christ; let others know about Jesus Christ; lay hands on the sick; pray for others; and cast out demons. The world is searching for answers and you and I have the only answer and His name is Jesus!
John 14:12-13 says, "I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing (preaching, teaching, healing, and casting out demons) he will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in My name and I will do it."You don 't have to go to school for years, know the Bible from front to back and memorize every scripture to be used by God. You don 't have to get special permission from your pastor, priest or rabbi to follow in Jesus ' footsteps. You just have to believe and act on the Word! That 's living in faith. That 's having and using the God kind of faith. You just begin to act on the Word and Jesus will do the rest. Trust in Him.We need the Holy Spirit to help us to do this mighty work. God will fill you with the Holy Sprit, when you ask (Luke 11:13). He will lead and guide you as He did with Jesus, and He provides the power you need to continue on with the work of Jesus Christ. As children of God we are highly favored and very blessed. We are heirs of God and joint heirs of Christ. We have all that Jesus had at our disposal, so we must BE Ready everyday to live in all the blessings God has given us through His Son, Jesus Christ and pass these blessings onto others. Our desire is to help you to BE Ready. We learned a long time ago that people working together can accomplish much more than the individuals can on their own. This is why we invite you to link arms with us, through TGM, to spread the good news of the Kingdom of God through the world.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
