Obstacles To Our Faith

  • It is the ONLY fight of the believer.
  • There would be NO FIGHT if there were no obstacles.
  • There are two (2) categories of these obstacles:

A. Lack of KNOWLEDGE.1. We cannot have Faith beyond our knowledge.2. Faith only comes one (1) way: By HEARING the Word of God.B. Lack of UNDERSTANDING (of six (6) things.1. Understanding what it means to be a new creature (2 Cor. 5:17-18,21; Eph. 1:5-6; Rom. 1:17; Rom. 3:21-22; Rom. 10:4).2. Understanding our place IN Jesus the Christ and His place IN us (Rom. 3:24; Rom. 8:1-2, 39; 1 Cor. 1:30; 1 Cor. 15:22).a. It is impossible to have been a Christian for decades and NOT walk in the light of what you had.b. In the New Testament Epistles, look-up all: "IN Christ", "IN Whom" and "IN Him" verses.There are 134 of them. Plus, add: (1 John 4:4; Col. 1:13-14) and CONFESS it!3. Understanding Righteousness and what Righteousness actually IS (2 Cor. 5:21; Rom. 3:33; 1 Cor. 1:30).a. We re MADE the righteousness of God.b. Righteousness: Our "right standing" or "good reputation" in God's eyes, allowing us to stand before God as if we had never sinned - because those sins have been BLOTTED OUT by God (Col. 2:14; Fortold in Acts 3:19).

    • NO spiritual inferiority complex!
    • NO guilt!
    • NO worthlessness!(Rom. 3:23-24; Eph. 3:12; Col. 1:22)

c. And remember that (1 John 1:9) was written to Christians!4. The lack of understanding our right to use the NAME of the Lord JESUS:

    • Will hold us in bondage.
    • Will produce a sence of weakness in us.(Phil. 2:9; Acts 3:16; Mark 16:17; John 14:13-14; Luke 10:17)

5. Understanding about ACTING on the Word. It NOT "try," It's TRUST! Believe it's true and then ACT like it's true! (Mark 11:24; Luke 8:21; James 1:22; 2:17).a. People LOSE healing due to counter-attacks! (1 Pet. 5:8-9).b. Real Bible Faith is the product of the knowledge of the Word of God (Rom. 10:8, 17).6. Understanding that we are to Hold Fast to Our Confession of Faith.a.(Heb. 4:14) Our Faith keeps pace with our Confession.b.(Rom. 10:10) With the mouth Confession is made.c. (Mark 11:22-24) Whoever shall SAY; SAID; SAID[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
