Speaking God's Words Brings Victory

[et_pb_section bb_built="1"][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type="4_4"][et_pb_text _builder_version="3.11"]All of us can be victorious in everything we do when we follow the lead of Jesus.  Now I'm not talking about wearing a bracelet that has WWJD on it.  I'm actually talking about speaking the way Jesus did, acting the way Jesus did and actually living His life by every Word of God in whatever situation He found Himself.Jesus was taken up into a mountain by the Holy Spirit right after He was baptized.  Forty days had now passed and Jesus fasted the whole time.  Now I would say that at this point in His life that Jesus was at His weakest He ever had been - in the natural.  But in the spirit, He was at His strongest.  He had just spent forty days in direct communication with the Father, getting direction through the Holy Spirit.  He was ready for anything! This is when the devil tried to 'take Him out' you might say.  Satan came at Jesus with words.  Strong words!  Words that would try to hurt His pride, words that would offend, words that would get Him to react.  Satan said to Jesus in Matthew 4:4 - "IF you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread."  You see, I don't think Satan really knew that Jesus WAS the Son of God.  He wanted to be sure.In the natural, Jesus was hungry, but He responded to the devil not through His emotions, but through His spirit.  He spoke the Word of God over the situation. He said "It is written: Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out from the mouth of God."You may be going through a difficult time in your life.  The devil may be using every weapon he has and throwing it right at you.  You may be feeling worn down and physically & emotionally weak.  But you don't have to stay that way.Proverbs 4:20-22 - My Child  (put your name in here) attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. We have the best resource there ever was - the Bible - the very Word of God!  His Word works against any situation that comes our way every time!God's Word is living and active.  Once we grab hold of His Word, His Truth, then we can turn any situation around, no matter how destructive it seems to be at the moment.God says that He watches over His Word to perform it.  That means that He is waiting to hear you and me speak forth His words to Him so He can then act on what He said He would do.  Once we speak God's Word - it is activated and it will come to pass in our lives.Whatever situation we find ourselves in, we must know, that we are not at a standstill, we are not at a dead end.  I Cor. 10:4 tells us that our godly weapons are mighty to the pulling down of strongholds.  Nothing the devil can throw against us will be able to take us down or out - IF we respond with the Word of God in faith. We don't have to be 'held down' in any area of our life any longer.  The moment we grab hold of God's Word and begin to speak it forth - it begins working in our lives to destroy any stronghold, any darkness, any depression, any habit, any sin, any sickness, any destruction that has tried to attach itself to us.Mark 11:23 Commands us to speak to our mountain and tell it to depart from us.  Many Christians have never heard of speaking to the mountain (any problem) before.  It really sounds kind of 'nutty' or strange to our natural minds actually.  But our ways are not God's ways.  There is true power in the words we speak. The first time we heard this scripture, we just began doing it, even though we didn't fully understand what it meant at the time.  We spoke to Tim's heart and told the angina and heart problem to leave him in Jesus name.  And you know we learned that 'God's Word' really does work!I want to encourage you right now, if you have any mountains in your life that you need removed, speak to them just like Jesus spoke the Word to the devil and throughout all His life on earth and you will have a Victorious Life.  For there truly is power in our spoken Word! For more information on this topic you may read the articles "God's Words" and "How to Live A Victorious Life," on the Tim Greenwood Ministries web site, www.tgm.org:  You may also order CD series by the same titles from the Tim Greenwood Ministries Product Catalog. [/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
