Name It and Claim It?
[et_pb_section bb_built="1"][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type="4_4"][et_pb_text _builder_version="3.11"]I'm sure you have heard, as I have from time to time - negative comments about "Naming It and Claiming It". This is usually spoken of in a "bad light", not something positive. But I would like to tell you what the Bible says - straight from God's mouth about "Naming It and Claiming It"!In order for anyone to become a Christian - is not to wish, hope or join a church to become one. The only way to become a Christian is to "Name It and Claim It." Once you become a Christian you don't hide the fact, you boldly and proudly confess it!Romans 10:8-10 says-- But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, (Naming It) and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess (Naming It) with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart (Claiming It)(believing it belongs to you) that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Claiming It). For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.Mark 11:23-24 strongly tells us to "Name It and Claim It" when we are commanding any problem to move from our life, and then to expect it, by claiming it. "For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say (Naming It) unto this mountain, Be thou removed, (Naming It and Claiming It) and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith (Naming It and Claiming It). Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive (Claiming It) them, and ye shall have them."It takes faith to "Name and Claim" something. The woman with the issue of blood for 12 years knew her only hope was Jesus. She "Named and Claimed" her healing, and was rewarded for doing so. " For she said, (Named It) If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole (Claimed It). And he (Jesus) said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague(Mark 5:25-34).1 John 5:14-15 says-- And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask (Name It) any thing according to his will, (Promises in the Bible) he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, (Naming It) we know that we have (Claiming It) the petitions that we desired of him.Even though this phrase "Name It and Claim It" may seem too bold for some Christians to do, God's Word is true and sure, and we can trust what He says, because He will NEVER lie to us! God has provided so much for you and me, and He wants His children to have an abundant life - so "go for it"! Tim and I want to encourage you to boldly "Name and Claim" all the good things God has for you.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
