In Matthew 15:30-31 it says: “And great multitudes came to You (Jesus), having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and they cast them down at Your feet; and You healed them all: Insomuch that the multitudes wondered when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.”
Now we know that the lame were crippled, that the blind could not see, that the dumb could not speak, but do you understand what the maimed were?
People with missing, mangled and irreversibly damaged arms, hands, feet, legs and who knows what else! And, Jesus HEALED them and their limbs were completely restored!
Do you realize what this means? Praise Jesus! It means that Jesus has PARTS! Fingers, toes, hands, feet, legs and arms! Jesus has PARTS! And it can’t stop there!
He has to also have hearts, lungs, kidneys, pancreases and livers too! He must have entire respiratory systems, endocrine systems and circulatory systems too. Parts! Jesus has PARTS! Parts to make you WHOLE!
So now, even as wonderful as healing is, there is no need for us to just settle for healing.
Now we can ask for a restoration – with brand new – factory installed – PARTS!
